T. Daniel Haeussner, DMD
Dr. Haeussner has lived in Northeast Florida since 1975. Dentistry runs in his family! His father was a dentist, his mother is a dental hygienist, and his brother is also a dentist.
After graduating from Bishop Kenny High School, Dr. Haeussner received his undergraduate degree from his beloved University of Florida. He is very proud of his Gator education and bleeds orange and blue. He then went on to graduate from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where he obtained an excellent education and also learned to appreciate the mild Florida “winters".
A perfectionist when it comes to dentistry, Dr. Haeussner has taken countless hours of continuing education and is committed to providing his patients with the latest techniques in dentistry. He is always looking for new ways to make each patient’s experience a better one each time they visit the office.
Dr. Haeussner has been trained in traditional bracket-and-wire braces as well as invisible braces (also known as Invisalign). He has completed other comprehensive training in esthetic smile reconstruction, implants, and CEREC same-day crowns.
Dr. Haeussner and his wife Kara have two beautiful children who mean the world to them. He enjoys fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, surfing, and anything outdoors.
Seeing new families in the office is one of Dr. Haeussner's favorite things, and he is passionate about growing the practice and providing excellent dental care to every one of his patients.
Kara, Office Manager
Our office manager, Kara, is Dr. Haeussner's wife, making us truly a family dental practice! Kara’s background is in banking and consumer real estate. She enjoys working with people and getting to know each patient on a personal basis. Kara is committed to making the office a great place for patients to visit. She’s a University of Florida alumnus and an avid Gator fan.
She and Dr. Haeussner have two small children. In her spare time, she enjoys chasing the kids around at the beach.
Daylan, Front Office Coordinator
Daylan, our front office coordinator, loves the opportunity to meet new people and provide the best service possible. She is St. Augustine born and raised. In her free time she loves shopping and hanging out with her two chihuahuas.
Krista, Hygienist
Krista is a Florida native from Keystone Heights. Upon graduating high school she fell in love with preventative dentistry, which led her to pursue a degree in dental hygiene. In her spare time Krista enjoys kayaking, crocheting, visiting state parks, and watching jeopardy.
Desiree, Hygienist
Desiree is a native of Vero Beach Florida. She went to school in Gainesville and settled in St. Augustine in 2006 after graduating from hygiene school. She has been a hygienist for well over 10 years and has pediatric experience. Desiree is married with three young children and loves surfing, paddle boarding, and taking RV trips with the family.
Terra, Hygienist
Terra grew up in Saint Augustine where she graduated from St Joseph Academy. She then completed her dental hygiene degree in Jacksonville at FSCJ. Terra has three children and when not watching them play any and all sports, she enjoys volleyball, concerts, and the beach.
Kim, Dental Assistant
Kim was born and raised in St. Augustine where she has been a dental assistant for over 12 years. She is a mother of two wonderful children and loves spending time with her family and friends. Most of her free time is spent outdoors going to the beach, boating, and camping.
Mandy, Dental Assistant
Mandy is originally from West Virginia. She relocated to St. Augustine in 2018 to be close to the beach. In her free time she loves to bake and spend time with her family and dogs. She enjoys being able to help people feel confident in their smiles and loves getting to know the patients on a personal level.
